It does not make pleasant reading.

Safe Haven
We have now re launched the Branch Safe Haven Scheme
By sponsoring one of our designated animal spaces for £3, £5, or more if you choose to, per month you can help give animals a second chance.
We have designated dog and cat spaces available for sponsorship. This will provide a safe environment for abused, abandoned or mistreated animals. With Safe Haven you won’t be helping just one animal, you’ll be sponsoring the lives of all who pass through our kennels every year.
Your sponsorship will go towards the animals care, rehabilitation and medical treatment. While they are in our care we give them a safe haven - we will make sure that they feel loved and secure by caring for their physical needs as well as giving them regular exercise and company.
Just pick either a dog kennel or cat pen
A sponsorship form can be downloaded from http://www.rspcanorthstaffs.co.uk/safehaven.html

Dimmingsdale Walk
Sadly we have had to postpone Sundays walk because of the weather. There is a lot of snow and the going would be heavy. Having gone for a walk today I encountered drifts of up to six feet though most were between knee and waist deep so it would not be much fun.
The new date is Sunday, 12th May so hopefullyu will see you then.
