On 23 October we posted a story about ducks being shot at on the Caldon Canal. Well the culprit has been found and prosecuted and received an 8 week sentence as a result. The full story can be found in the Sentinel, 11 January or by viewing

Although the article refers to the canal as Trent and Mersey, Milton is on the Caldon Canal so refers to the above incident I suspect.
People are urged to come forward and report anyone to the Police or the RSPCA () if they suspect of shooting at animals with air guns or rifles.
